I was horrified to learn that in the last four months ONE IN FIVE PEOPLE IN LOS ANGELES COUNTY have been precipitated into "FOOD INSECURITY."

2 million people is a staggering number. The Coronavirus is disproportionately impacting lower-income communities. School closures, changes in work schedules and social isolation are layering extra burdens on our neighbors throughout Los Angeles County.

Essentially, this means that 1 in 5 people who live here may not know where their next meal is coming from.

During the height of the lock-down I was appalled by the people who defied “sheltering-in” orders by claiming that implementing measures of protection during the Covid-19 pandemic infringes on their civil liberties, a behavior that greatly contributed to the gigantic spike in infections, which in turn exacerbated the food insecurity crisis.

In response, I coined a tragically funny hashtag and created the present website.

So in order to raise money for the LA Regional Food Bank I have decided to DONATE a complete set of the photographic work that I produced as a memory of this sad moment in our history…

This is how it works: as soon as you send me a screenshot or forward an email confirmation showing that you have given $250.00 or more to the LA Regional Food Bank through Facebook, I will send you the work you choose here.

I will initially release only one set of 10 works, so hurry!

In regards to the numbers: just $25 donated to the LA Regional Food Bank will finance 100 meals, so with $250 they will provide 1,000 meals, and with ten times that, a whopping 10,000 meals.

In order to reach this number, I am donating a full set of 10 images. I will send each person one work as a thank you for donating $250.00.

I will include free shipping within the US, and provide a quote for foreign shipping.

Since March, the LA Regional Food Bank has distributed over 20 million pounds of food to our neighbors in need.

Please note that Facebook charges no fees for donations made to nonprofits such as this, so the charity receives 100% of your donation when you do it through the DONATE button.

In regards to my work, I am covering 100% of the costs of fabrication of the pieces, elaboration and maintenance of the website, and US shipping of each piece.
